How do we define happiness? Have we made it all about doing more, getting more, and charging ahead without stopping? Fireside 2012 Fall Retreat on Jeju Island will focus on that which today\u2019s leaders need the most \u2013 taking a pause from the hectic daily life and getting back in touch with our inner selves.\u00a0This retreat will be about leaving the city life behind, winding down in nature, and taking the time to \u00a0ask ourselves questions about the state of our health, emotional condition, and reflect on how we live our lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday 10\/26<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>19:00 Dinner &amp; Night cap (Nine Bridges restaurant)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday 10\/27<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>08:00 Breakfast (Nine Bridges restaurant)<\/li>\n<li>09:00 ~ 12:00 Meditation &amp; Healing conversations, &#8220;Fear of Pausing &#8211; Learning to Rest&#8221;, Introduction of new members and &#8220;what&#8217;s on your mind&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>12:00 ~ 13:30 Lunch<\/li>\n<li>14:30 ~ 17:30 Peaceful Walking<\/li>\n<li>18:30 ~ 21:00 Dinner<\/li>\n<li>21:30 ~ 23:00 Night cap &amp; more conversations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sunday 10\/28<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>08:00 Breakfast<\/li>\n<li>09:00 ~ 12:00 Activities<\/li>\n<li>12:00 Lunch &amp; Departure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Venue<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ninebridges.co.kr\/\">Nine Bridges<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Private golf club and resort in the mountains. Quite beautiful and very quiet which will be good for our restful retreat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cost<\/strong>: USD 550 (including accommodation)<br \/>\nOur usual participation fee is USD 300.<br \/>\nFor this retreat, instead of paying for accommodation individually as we have done in the past, we will be collecting the accommodation fee. We will be renting several two-bedroom villas and need to ensure that we can reserve them.<br \/>\nBecause I am a member of the club, I was able to get a deep, deep, deep discout on the villas. The extra USD 250 will cover two nights and breakfast. I may need to collect the fee in advance in which case I will provide bank account details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attire:<\/strong> We will be meditating as well as walking outdoors. So please do not forget to bring comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Fall in Jeju is a great season for walking. However, the weather on the island is extremely volatile. We could have sunshine one minute and wind and rain the next. So be prepared.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Late departure:<\/strong> Also, if anyone is leaving late on Sunday and is interested in playing golf after our program is over, please let me know. If we have enough people to form a team, and if there is tee-time available (I hear it&#8217;s quite busy that weekend), I will try to arrange it.
