Theme : Redefining the Fireside Mission and Getting to Know Jeju on Foot
This spring retreat in Jeju is all about talking, bonding, walking, and eating. We are not loading many schedules into our program but unloading. The purpose of our gathering this time is to reserve ample time for the Core Group members to intensively evaluate the retreats we’ve hosted over the last three years, revisit our mission, and streamline our activities as well as membership. Some topics of discussions include the rate of membership increase, the feasibility of private “what’s on your mind” sessions with an enlarged membership, and identification of cultural projects to support. We will be talking a lot, then walking through the forests of Jeju, and inbetween, eating at the joints where the locals eat.
